4 stars instead of 5 because I think this has limited appeal. We had several rides all to ourselves with virtually no waiting.

Even the 2 year old got to ride the Red Baron ride with a plane of her own - since big sister and she were the only riders, we strapped her in to her own plane (so big sister could go up and down on her own while she stayed on the ground level) and the operator said she would stop to let her off if she looked unhappy - but she wasn't, a big smile and wave every time she came around. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours before bedtime. Our 6 year old absolutely loved the train ride, the lights, and the rides (especially the ferris wheel), and mom and dad loved the fact that there were hardly any lines. While visiting Plymouth, we came on the Sunday evening after Thanksgiving while visiting from out of town with a package from the John Carver Inn. DONT MISS IT !It is very resonable for what you get as everything is included /once you enter the park they dont charge you as other parks do ride to ride!! I really enjoy the park and it brings our family together. This place has been here since the 30s and when my parent come down for the holidays its a tradition. When I see my kids singing and eating gingerbread and having Santa picture and hot coco. Its beautiful. We really didnt notice the construction as in was great! They have new shops a new bakery and a totally new resturant from last year.We always go for a "Day out with Thomas"and I have to say we thought the Polar Express was really nice for the girl who believe they were headed to the North Pole. This is such a nice family take.I didnt find the staff rude. They are young high school students and retired people from the town and local area as that is the policy of the park to hire local/our babysitter works here and she had a hard time finding a job -as there are not a lot of jobs availible for adults these day. about the unfinished light displays, but we went Saturaday and it was done and beautiful!they are expanding the park with a very expensive renovation to include waterpark and go carts and other big project. I just wanted to say the new renovations at the park were beautiful.I read the review from Nov.
